New sessions and speakers for the Charter for Primary Education conference on 15th June now include…
Professor Justin Dillon (Kings College London), will speak on “Bad Education; Debunking myths in education”. Justin is editor of the book of the same name. Details of this book can be read here.
Dr John Berry (University of Hertfordshire), will lead a session on teacher autonomy. He will examine how teachers can develop educationally sound practices despite the restrictions placed upon them by government.
Jackie Schneider (primary school music teacher), will join a panel to discuss the future of the arts in primary education. Many of you may already follow Jackie on Twitter. If not, you can follow her at @jackieschneider
Defend School History; There will be a workshop delivered by the Defend School History campaign with Richard Huey, primary history specialist and Andy Stone from the campaign both speaking.
Debra Kidd (AST for pedagogy), will be joining the session on how children can lead their learning.
